Blakely Harbor Residence
Bainbridge Island, Washington
Site: Waterfront property located on the north edge of Blakely Harbor.
Program: To integrate the main living areas into one visual, functional whole including the interior entry hall, kitchen and great room.
Solution: To treat all rooms as if they were visually connected and design them all to the same level of finishes. Each room has a slightly different treatment including shoji screens, cherry cabinetry, built-in seating, lighting and furniture pieces. All furniture is by William Walker Woodworking. The cabinetry was designed by Kriegh Architects and built by William Walker Woodworking. The fabrics are by Jack Lenor Larson.
